HWF - Assistances and Sponsoring

Our needs:

Our needs in order to:
 - continue our missions in the developing countries,
 - succeed in the next years,
 - maintain and even, increase our rhythm (some 40 missions each year in gathering of medical material for more than 1.000.000 €),

... Our needs are numerous:

 1^st- In material:

We must not only collect the material which is proposed to us (approximately 50.000 € for hiring of vehicles, each year) but we have to also buy new material (approximately 15.000 €, each year) according to the requests which are addressed to us.

2d- In forwarding costs towards the applicant countries :You can read in the chapter "16 years of activity" that we must find means for sending off material to about thirty countries, each year.

We call primarily upon "Sponsoring"...

 - of Rotary Clubs working sometimes in collaboration,

 - of persons in charge for maritime and air transportation,

 - of humanitarian associations...

We try to multiply the contacts with the hospitals in order to sensitize their managers and to obtain second hand material being still valid.

Let us mention our contacts with a recent association " SOLI-CITA  " of the hospitals in the area of Liège, created on the initiative of the persons in charge for the Hospital of the Citadel in Liege.

Your role ...

... Rotary Friends, Donors, Volunteers, your role does not only come down to support us financially but also to speak about HWF on any occasion, to hospital managers, to people from medical professions in general, dentists,  physiotherapists ...

Dear friends in Rotary, contact us for missions which you wish to organize in favour of hospital in need in the third world countries. It can be a good occasion to create a Matching Grant operation.
